Terms and Conditions of Sale

The following conditions apply to and are deemed to be incorporated in all contracts for sale and supply of the company’s services and materials.

By purchasing an item from Treadmils.org.uk you are agreeing to abide by our Terms and Conditions.

Ordering from us

  • The placing of an order expresses acceptance of our Terms and Conditions of business.
  • These terms and conditions do not affect the customer’s statutory rights.
  • All prices shown include Value Added Tax (VAT) at the statutory rate current at the date of ordering.
  • Treadmills.org.uk reserves the right to alter prices and/or specifications at any time and without prior notice.

Communications

In keeping with normal practice for Internet businesses, communication should be via e-mail where possible please.

Returns

  • Distance Selling Regulations 2010:
  • You have the right to cancel your order for any item purchased from this website for a full refund within 7 days starting on the day after delivery.
  • To cancel you must e-mail us at sales@treadmills.org.uk or write to us at the adress given in the ‘Contact Us’ section of our website
  • Please quote your order/reference number.
  • You have a responsibility to take reasonable care of the item(s) and pack them sufficiently well.
  • You must return the goods to us at your own cost, or we can arange collection at your own cost (see below).
  • The cost of rectifying omissions, dilapidations & breakages may be deducted from refunds if found.
  • Your refund will be processed within 30 days of the notice of cancellation.
  • If goods are to be returned after 7 days for reasons other than being faulty, or other than due to errors made by Treadmills.org.uk, then a 20% handling and repackaging charge may be deducted from any refund.
  • Treadmills.org.uk can arrange for re-packed goods to be collected by parcel carrier. The charge can be notified and agreed before collection on request (Within UK delivery zones only)

Please do not return goods before notifying us that you wish to cancel.

Warranty

Warranty Support is normally provided as delivery of free parts at no cost, plus detailed and individual advice as necessary.

  • In the event that goods need to be returned for repair or exchange, the customer will be responsible for meeting the cost of returning them, and ensuring they are adequately packed and protected.
  • Please ensure that goods returned under warranty are complete and where possible in their original packaging.
  • If on receipt of your item, it cannot be repaired or replaced under warranty, then a refund will be available.
  • Warranty covers faulty operation and failures during NORMAL USE ONLY.
  • Failures and damage due to incorrect use or other causes are not covered under warranty.
  • Parts are stocked and can be purchased at very reasonable prices.
  • Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights

Card Payment

  • You can pay by credit or debit card online securely via PayPal.
  • You do not need a PayPal accout in order to use their payment facilities.
  • It doesn’t cost you anything extra to use PayPal in order to pay for goods on our website.
  • All PayPal transactions are handled within their secure environment

Bank Transfer

  • Bank Transfer Payment can be deposited straight into Treadmills.org.uk’s bank account.
  • This service is typically provided by banks FREE of charge and takes only 2 or 3 days to clear.
  • THIS METHOD IS THOROUGHLY RECOMMEND, but not everybody can do it. Banking policies differ and we’d urge you to check with your own bank first.

  • If you would prefer, you canalso pay by Cheque or Postal Order:
  • NOTE: Please allow time for cheques (if applicable) to arrive here, be sent to the bank and then clear.
  • Including one weekend, it’s not unusual for it to take 9 or 10 days from the date you post your cheque to the date it clears, then another couple of days till you receive your purchase

Cash on Collection

  • Treadmills.org.uk accepts cash or card payment on collection.
  • NOTE: Items being collected are released ONLY AFTER cleared funds have been received.
  • Payment must therefore be cleared IN ADVANCE if not paying by cash or card.
